Your responsibilities
- With ultimate ownership and accountability of complex engineering projects, planning, scheduling, executing programs, tracking and reporting progress to senior management
- Keeping abreast with new technologies and industry standards in several areas, including consumer electronics, healthcare, aerospace, power & energy, industrial automation,
- Working with the account sales teams, and per the strategic business directives, interact with customers, seek and translate requirements into business cases
- Working with internal/external customers as necessary to leverage key capabilities as needed for the project
- Analyzing and electrical circuits through simulation, mathematical analysis, systems interaction testing/analysis, creating and presenting technical reports to internal and external customers
- Proactively collaborate with Manufacturing Operations as required
- Working closely with QA department to ensure full adherence to Vario’s QMS
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or equivalent experience
- Ability to read, interpret and understand schematic drawings, assembly drawings, Bills of Materials, Work Instructions, & Test Procedures.
- Ability to interpret component manufacturer’s data sheets in regards to package design, part and lot numbers, correct orientation, or other technical data as required
- Familiarity with IPC-610 accept/reject criteria regarding printed circuit board assemblies
- Ability to work well as a team member in a production facility
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Will be required to lift over 40 lbs. on a daily basis
